Destination: Happily Ever After

Owner/Designer – Christina D’Asaro Design, LLC   There’s something incredibly special about a destination wedding – a gorgeous setting, an intimate guest list comprised of your closest friends and family, and a weekend/week full of memories that will last a lifetime.

Save-the-Date luggage tags are a great way to get guests excited about your upcoming destination wedding, and can be used for years to come.  Consider developing a wedding website that includes key travel information, and including it on your Save-the-Dates so that guests can begin to plan accordingly.  Aim to send them 12-8 months prior to your wedding date to allow guests ample time to make travel arrangements and plan accordingly.

If you decide to go another route for your Save-the-Dates, luggage tags can also be used as escort cards/favors that guests can take with them and will serve as a reminder of the amazing time they had on your special day whenever they travel.

Passport Packets are another great way to provide your guests with the information they will need to plan for your destination wedding (travel dates, planned activities for the weekend/week, travel agent contact information, etc.)  Your guests will have all the information they need in one convenient packet that they can refer to throughout the planning process, and even take with them when they travel to your wedding.

When it comes to the invitation, these Boarding Passes are guaranteed to get your guests packing!   They were custom-designed specifically to look and feel like an actual boarding pass, and even include a perforated R.S.V.P. so guests feel like they are checking-in to embark on a special journey.

While planning a destination wedding, it is important to remember that a well-informed guest is a happy one!  More is required of guests when they are invited to a destination wedding (in terms of planning, taking time off, budgeting, etc.), so the easier you can make it for them, the more relaxed and happy they will be once they arrive.  With all the details taken care of, they will reach their destination relaxed, fresh, and ready to celebrate.
